#SortIT, Change Temperature Display Between Fahrenheit and Celsius on Heatware Heat Presses

At am.co.za we have 2 different types of heat presses, both of which allow you to work in
Fahrenheit or Celcius.
This video explains how to change between the 2 types of temperatures on both machines.

Lets start with the heatware multi function press
Begin by pressing both arrow keys at the same time, hold them in and switch the power button on.
You will see P1 d displayed in red on the top display.
Now press the mode button - over here. The top display will now read: F - C
It is asking you to choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
On the bottom display in green you will see the first choice flashing. See, The F is flashing.
If you now press the left arrow key it will change to C for celsius.
Lets say we want to work in celsius at this time, then,
to confirm your selection, press the mode button. It acts like an enter button.
Now on the bottom display in green you will see 000. Make that 001 by pressing the right arrow key once.
Press mode again, and you are ready to set your temperature.

Lets repeat the process but this time choosing to work in Fahrenheit.
Begin by pressing both arrow keys at the same time, hold them in and switch the power button on.
You will see P1 d displayed in red on the top display.
Now press the mode button. The top display now reads: F - C
On the bottom display in green you will see the first choice flashing. Press the arrow keys to
make the F flash, and confirm your choice by pressing the mode key.
If you now press the left arrow key it will change to C for celsius.
Lets say we want to work in celsius at this time, then,
to confirm your selection, press the mode button. It acts like an enter button.
Now make sure that the number in green on the button display is 001. Do that by using the left and right arrow buttons. Then press the mode button, and you are ready to set the temperature.

The swing-swap large size t-shirt heat press works a little different.

On this machine first switch the power on. Then press both up and down arrow keys simultaneously
to activate the temperature mode.
Now press the the up arrow key and continue press until the number on the bottom display is 88. Why 88? Because 88 is our default password that allows you access to the temperature type settings. So now press enter with this button over here.
We are in. Now press enter another 3 times until you see CF on the top display screen.
Then take a look just below the display - over here. You see 2 choices with small check boxes next to each. F and box, and, C and box. This is how you make your choice.
Currently C for Celsius is checked. How do we change it to F for Fahrenheit? Press the red enter button and the green light now moves from the C to F check box.
And then simply exit this mode by continuing to press the enter button until you are back at the temperature amount setting.
And exactly the same applies if you wish to work in Celsius.
Press both arrow keys. Watch the bottom display and use the arrows to get to 88 for the password. Press enter. Press enter another 3 times until you see CF on the top display.
And now press the enter key to change the green light in the check box from F to C.
And then continue as per normal with your temperature amount setting.

Please also note, The default maximum temperature for this machine when leaving the factory is 270C, but this model actually allows you to setup the temperature to a maximum of 400C,
And now that you have the password, you can set your machine to higher temperatures. But at all times be aware when using temperatures above 270C, it might cause fire,
Use only for special applications and when you are sure of what you are doing. We do not take any responsibility for fires caused to anything should you wish to use the higher temperature settings.
